Still a classic track for those bar nights, "Knock 'Em Out" always gives you a good chuckle as she rejects creeps left and right. Plus, who can resist her "polite" British accent?

you look alright, still
After listening to her latest album Sheezus, I took the time to reminisce Lily Allen's older work. After remembering her debut album Alright, Still, I appreciated her fun, yet vulgar, music. With her cute melodies and sweet voice, she is subtly stealing that crown... she wants to be Sheezus.

song of the week
Going through my iPod and rediscovering Back to Black by Amy Winehouse has restarted my obsession for her.
After replaying her albums for the past few weeks, I cannot get enough of "Me & Mr. Jones". With a great groove, vocals, and jazz accompaniment, this song will always put me in a great mood.
RIP Amy, her music will stay timeless and live on forever.

there's a world we can visit if we go outside
For the song of the week, I'm throwing it back to Donald Glover's , also know as Childish Gambino, first album, Camp.
I've been reliving his angst by leaving "Outside" on replay. With an accompaniment of back up vocalists and lyrics written as if they were from a diary, Gambino effortlessly makes another masterpiece from his repressed childhood pain.
If you haven't listened to Camp yet, you haven't witnessed Donald Glover's true potential. His writing transcends in both television and music and he is an artist that will be here for a while.
