Kim K vs. Hottentot

After Paper Magazine's Break the Internet campaign blew up, people have had a lot to say about Kimmy doing such scandalous shots. Since having a child, some may say she should act more motherly and cover herself.

Personally, I am no one to judge her for expressing her sexuality, whether she is a mother or not. However, when young North comes asking questions of all the willingly scandalous things she's done, I would expect a better answer than "I was young and naive" when explaining her life choices.

Switching gears, I stumbled upon an article from theGrio diving into a deeper analysis of Kim's photos, an interesting read and angle on the photos and campaign. Comparing the pictures to the legendary Hottentot, it gives an interesting angle on race, history and photography. Who knows, maybe Kim isn't aware of the history of the photo... Or maybe she is. Lord knows what's going on in that woman's mind.
